The South American Youth Championship, also known as U-20 South American Championship and Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-20 "Juventud de América" (English: "America's Youth") is a South American football tournament organized by the CONMEBOL (CONfederación SudaMEricana de FútBOL), for South American national teams of men under the age of 20.
The competition takes place every 2 years and the first one was hosted by Venezuela in 1954. Current reigning champions Brazil have most titles (11) and are followed by Uruguay (7) and Argentina (4).
