The 70-year-old Alex Ferguson, who has been in charge of Manchester United since 6th November 1986, has recently stated that his successor at the club should be José Mourinho or Pep Guardiola. Which of these two great coaches is a better fit for Manchester United? Or should somebody else succeed Sir Alex?

tough question...i would say Mourinio because he was there for 4 years and he knows how premier league goes. But Chelsea fans would be very disappointed... :)

I also think that Mourinho is the safer option as he has already proven himself in England. Moreover, he has achieved great success in other countries – Portugal, Italy and Spain. Guardiola, on the other side, has only coached one club – his native Barcelona. I like Pep a lot but I am not sure how successful he can be outside of Barcelona and Spain?
