Why Bulgarian soccer sucks? 3 Replies

Both, Levski and CSKA had glorious days in the 1970s and 1980s. It's no longer the case. Why? Best, Steve (Pawel you did a great gob!!!)

Unfortunately, my CSKA lost the big Sofia derby against archrivals Levski by 0-1! We dominated the game and the result is not fair :(

I really enjoyed the quality, high-tempo game between Ludogorets and Litex! Both teams failed to beat each other but produced a great show for the fans! The 1-1 result is very good for my team CSKA :)

I watched the game between Levski Sofia and Chernomorets Burgas and saw 4 beautiful goals :) The one scored by Toni Calvo from 35 meters was really amazing! Both teams shared the points and this result is very good for my CSKA :) Tomorrow we must win the Sofia derby against Slavia!

Голов спектакъл на "Герена", Левски все по-далеч от Европа
Отборите на Левски и Черноморец сътвориха много хубав за родните стандарти двубой в дербито на 24-ия кръг от „А” група.

I watched the third straight 0-1 defeat of Levski Sofia in the Bulgarian top flight. This time the Blues were beaten at home by newcomers Ludogorets Razgrad who impressed me with some beautiful and clever passes between the rival defenders. The only goal came after such a brilliant pass from Miroslav “Deco” Ivanov to Ivan Stoyanov. Interestingly, following the yesterday Newcastle-Liverpool game, a player from the field was again forced to play the last minutes as a goalkeeper against his former team :) This time it was Ludogorets defensive midfielder Stanislav Genczev who replaced the red carded goalkeeper Uroš Golubović. I would like to thank the fans of Levski and Ludogorets for their fantastic support for Stiliyan Petrov! Respect!

Our captain will win this fight and I hope to see him on the pitch again!

Stilian Petrov: Football is over as I begin to fight for my life
The Aston Villa captain is reportedly considering retiring from football after being diagnosed with leukaemia and has thanked the world for the support he has received.
